The application deadline to the BlueBRIDGE Call for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is only 3 weeks away. You have time until the 10th June 17:00 CEST to send your proposal and take advantage of the BlueBRIDGE datasets, services and technologies, and data analytics. The BlueBRIDGE call for SMEs will support 5 lucky SMEs with data management challenges in the fisheries, marine, environmental & ecological domains or in the aquaculture providing integrated data management solutions that combine different technologies and resources (such as datasets from different data sources not harmonised, as well as computing resources, data analytics tools). To apply, all you need to is download the proposal application template, complete all five sections and submit it through the online submission portal.

For five days, experienced teachers will first present data management and analysis concepts and methods and then support hands-on sessions in such a way that at the end of the course the participants will be able to successfully deal with a wide range of Data Science related activities.

On March 2017, the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (IOC/UNESCO) and the Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the European Commission (DG MARE) adopted a "Joint Roadmap to accelerate Maritime/Marine Spatial Planning processes worldwide".
