Putting e-Infrastructures on the University curriculum: BlueBRIDGE courses at the Sorbonne University

Building the necessary skills around new and innovative technologies is a key part of its uptake and important for its sustainability. BlueBRIDGE is well aware of this and that's why, in its work plan, has identified different training activities to different stakeholders. One of the means to engage and train new generations is to make BlueBRIDGE and e-infrastructures part of some university courses.

EwE Course Natal 2015

On September 2015 a basic course on the Ecopath with Ecosim (EwE) modeling approach was held in Brasil. The course introduced the current capabilities of the EwE desktop software (www.ecopath.org) focusing on the advanced features for parameterization of EwE models through online databases such as FishBase and WoRMS.
